Champlain Investment Partners, LLC is an independent, employee owned boutique investment management firm located in Burlington, Vermont. Champlain manages small and mid cap equity investment strategies for public and private pension plans, corporations, endowment and foundation plans, family offices, and mutual funds.
Champlain was founded in 2004. All key professionals at Champlain worked together at a former employer. This cohesive team, lead by Scott T. Brayman, CFA, utilizes an investment process that has been in place since 1996. Our track record provides evidence that this disciplined investment process has led to a high degree of consistency.
Asset management is our sole business. Champlain has pre-defined asset levels for both the small and mid cap strategies. Our interests are aligned with our clients. All investment professionals have a portion of their personal equity exposure in our products, creating a strong alignment between Champlain and our clients' interests.
